READ THIS Running definitely helped me in my weight loss journey, but diet played the biggest role! I was eating in a calorie deficit and getting around 110g of protein a day. Apart from running, I also did strength training whenever I could (I wasn't super consistent with it tho) But remember: YOU CAN'T OUTRUN A BAD DIET. And please don't compare your progress to mine. A commonly recommended sustainable rate of weight loss is around 0.5ā1 kg per week, but it varies from person to person. I lost around 6 kg, but some of that is likely water weight, especially with the changes in activity, food, and glycogen. Focus on consistency, not how quickly the number on the scale drops. š [Consistency, weight loss series, weight loss journey, 30 days challenge, weight loss, weight loss reveal, fat loss, cardio results, running everyday, running challenge]
I turned 23 on July 31st, and ran 23kms to mark my life on this earth. It was so hard, especially with continuous running everyday, my legs had no break (lil foolish) But I'm grateful for my body, for my family and you lovely humans who kept me motivated throughout this challenge!! I now declare my love for running, I think I'll keep running š [run your age on your b'day, b'day run, birthday run, run your age on your birthday, running challenge, 30 day run challenge, running everyday, running reels, transformation, accountability, overweight runners, plus size runners] #run #running #runningeveryday #30dayschallenge #birthdayrun
